"Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are!"
Actually, I write this post not to criticize those people, more to be a reminder for me not to do that anymore.
Have you ever feel that you are not good enough? That you are not pretty enough, skinny enough, had enough? I won't answer that for you. But I know how it feels. I feel like that quite often. They say it's easy to let negative thoughts take over you, they are right. I always have that feeling every time I saw other people who have more than me. Sometimes it even got me thinking that this life is so unfair. It makes me want to be like them. But then it hits me. God created us differently, why bother to be like someone when you, yourself are special too. We will never be like someone we're trying to be because we're not them and they're not us.
Trying to be something you are not is tiring. I've done that and yes, it is indeed tiring. You'll never feel satisfied and it could even frustrate you. I know it's not as easy as ABC but just live simply, grateful for what you have and embrace it. Love yourself because we are special in our own way. Hope it will works for me… and us.
